After completing the online procedures, the client will receive a message from the Autorom Reservation Department at the email address, with information on the availability of the selected machine class. In order to complete the reservation, the client will confirm the rental made by email.
IMPORTANT! Reservations will only be confirmed for a car in a class, not for a particular type / model of that vehicle. The total rental cost will be paid to the rental agency because AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO does not charge the advance.
Since the total rental costs of the car are calculated according to the rental duration, location and class of the car, any change to the reservation may change the price and / or availability of the car that the customer desires.

Yes, AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO offers the possibility to extend the car rental service on the basis of the contractual terms and conditions mentioned in the contract and revised in the presence of a consultant AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO.
In order to rent a car through the service provided by AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO, the client must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid national or international driving license. In the case of the presentation of documents issued in countries other than the Latin alphabet as well as for driving licenses obtained on right-hand drive vehicles, it is necessary and mandatory to present an international driver's license (eg Great Britain, India, Australia, Japan, etc.).
For category B driving license must be issued at least one year ago. When presenting to pick up the car, the customer must provide the original driving license, ID card or passport and credit / debit card. If he opts for cash payment, the customer must provide the amount equivalent to the guarantee in cash.
According to the contractual information, at the time of signing the agreement, the customer is the only person authorized to drive the rented car. Up to 3 additional drivers per vehicle may be added. All drivers must accept and comply with the terms of the rental agreement.
The customer pays the car and other optional items, optional and compulsory insurance, as well as any additional fees when signing the contract. The driver must have a valid credit card. Credit card details will be requested at the time of rental of the rental period. Optionally, the customer may choose the Cash payment, in which case the amount equivalent to the guarantee and the rental costs, in cash, is required.
IMPORTANT! Contract prices do not include fuel costs, fines received for violation of public road traffic regulations or national legislation, as well as all costs resulting from local authority action against the vehicle covered by this agreement during the rental period. Full payment of these amounts is the responsibility of the customer!
The delivery and return of the rented car will be made at the place, date and time agreed by both parties mentioned in the contract. If the customer chooses a different delivery location after taking the car, AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO reserves the right to charge additional charges, which can be deducted from the warranty deposit. The return of the vehicle to places other than those mentioned in the contract is made ONLY with the agreement of AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO.
The customer undertakes to return the car at the agreed time and place. On request and against payment, AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO also provides on-demand delivery and collection service at a specific address, subject to availability of staff. In order to benefit from this service, the client must send a request to AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO at least 24 hours in advance.
The rented cars through the AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO rent-a-car service can be run throughout Romania, without crossing the border of the country. It is STRONGLY forbidden to leave Romania at the wheel of AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO cars.
AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO reserves the right not to rent cars to those persons who do not present their driving license and / or identity document in their original form at the time the car is removed.
In order to ensure that the rented cars are returned in optimal conditions, we reserve the right to charge a guarantee of between 250-1000 Euro, depending on the type of car that the customer desires. Upon returning the car, the warranty will be fully refunded if the car is presented under the same conditions as it was delivered and accompanied by all original documents, accessories and equipment.
IMPORTANT! If the car shows different signs of damage, different amounts will be stopped from the warranty, in order to remedy the faults, especially if the damages were caused by the customer's fault.
Depending on the rental period and the specifications of the vehicle you want, AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO offers its customers a range of additional equipment. When booking, please specify that you want one or more of the available equipment:
Children's chair - 5.00 EUR / day
Snow chains - 3.00 EUR / day
Navigation system - 5.00 EUR / day
In the event of damage or damage to one or more special equipment, the customer is obliged to pay the cost of the additional leased equipment.
If the customer delays the return of the vehicle less than 3 hours from the time specified in the contract, AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO will not charge any additional fee. The minimum condition in this case is the prior announcement of the firm at least 12 hours before the original return date.
For a delayed delay of more than 3 hours, AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO will charge an additional amount equivalent to the amount per day of rent. The renewed delay results in the customer being charged an amount equivalent to a rental day plus an additional cost of EUR 5.00 for each recorded delay time.
When the customer rents a car from AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO, it has a full tank and is ready to go. We recommend filling the tank of the rented vehicle before returning the car. Otherwise, the missing fuel will be charged at the current price by the representatives of AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO.
The authorized customer / driver is covered by civil liability in the event of an accident. However, the tenant may be held liable in accordance with Romania's regulations for damages that can not be covered by an MTPL insurance. The tenant is responsible for the damage and theft of the rented vehicle, within a maximum amount.
You can check which insurance is included in the rental price at the time of booking or when you reach the car's picking location.
The vehicle has RCA and CASCO insurance for damage and theft included. When signing the contract, the customer chooses one of the following insurance: CDW, SCDW or SCDW + CDW (insurance for damages with a franchise specified in public prices, also called a guarantee).
Accepting CDW insurance reduces customer responsibility to EUR 300.00 for car categories A, B and C; 400.00 EUR for car categories E and F; EUR 600.00 for car categories G, and the franchise value is deposited when the agreement is signed and will be returned to the customer at the time of the return of the vehicle.
If one of the drivers mentioned in the contract is between 21-25 years of age or over 70 years of age and applies for SCDW / SCDW + CDW insurance, AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO reserves the right to charge a double sum. In both cases the mandatory minimum deposit is EUR 150,000.
The damage insurance is perceived by the rental company AUTOROM RENTACAR-RO in the following cases: Damages (accidents) caused to the rented vehicle were caused by the fault of the client or by the fault of an unknown author (including the situation when the vehicle is found hit in the car park) .
In the case of any other exclusions from insurance, see Chapter. 5 of the lease, the customer will not be liable in case of damage caused by natural disasters, as long as he complies with the present traffic rules. Insurance does not cover the loss, theft or destruction of goods belonging to the customer or his attendants in the vehicle. Regardless of the type of insurance chosen, the customer will present a deposit called a warranty upon picking up the car.
IMPORTANT! The Customer is responsible for repairing and paying the damages in full. Please note that insurance does not cover the loss, theft or destruction of property belonging to the client or its attendants.
